Stork

The origin of the attachment of the stork to the birth of children that probably stems from the devotion that is shown by the bird to its young. The flight of the stork over a house indicates that a pregnancy will be imminent, and that the nesting of the bird close to the home will not only enrich your life bringing good luck but also encourage the crops and animals on your land to flourish. In Europe should two lovers see a pair of storks together then it is thought that they will conceive a child within a short amount of time. The stork is believed to have flown around the Cross of Christ with compassion and is therefore thought to be unlucky to kill.
