Mystical-WWW supports the Arts as it believes it is a fundamental necessity for existence and yet no-one knows why. Without stimulation the brain dies and so the hypothesis could be raised that "the reason for Art is to stimulate the mind", as nature itself is a work of Art therefore Art must be nature at work and we all know how mysterious nature can appear. It is no wonder then that Art and science are intrinsically linked. The world of the Arts is to everyone in and outside of it mystical. Why do humans create Art? From dance to sculpture, painting to poetry. Humans have a drive to communicate. Art is also open to interpretation so only the artist really knows what they are saying. Although some artists would also say they just create because it feels right to do so but, cannot always say why they create.

Questions that Mystical WWW find help to clarify this mystery of the Arts are "Why do dancers dance", "Why do composers compose", "why do writers write". The list can go on, even if the need for money or fame are removed, humans have still created Art for their own personal satisfaction for thousands of years what does that say about the necessity for Art? When humans survived as cave dwellers they still found time to paint Why? Unless there is more to existing as a human than animal instinct. If you believe that Art exists purely as an exercise in communicating with others then why is it always open to interpretation during which the interpretation can be a mis-interpretion, but can still give a feeling of stimulation whether positive or negative, just like that well used saying goes, "I don't know Art, but I know what I like". Mystical-WWW therefore believes it could not call itself a truly Mystical Site if it did not include such an unexplained area.
